           Motor City Brass Quintet

The Motor City Brass Quintet features some of Detroit's most creative and versatile brass musicians, with members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra. The quintet's members have taught at institutions including the University of Michigan, the University of Toledo, Grand Valley State University, and Albion College. The MCBQ performs unique and specialized educational programs geared towards young and old in a variety of formats. MCBQ’s debut CD, and features the premier complete recording of John Harbison's Christmas Vespers, as well as new arrangements of familiar Christmas and Holiday music.
