        Something Old, Something New

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s finest performers present this delightful program. Written in 1932, Larsson's Concerto is one of the first major works written for saxophone utilizing non standard tonality. Also on the program is Sextet for Strings by Detroit Symphony bassist Rick Robinson. A richly scored chamber work inspired by his passion for love.
